It is still only April. The roads are still covered with sand, pot holes, and the weather is still cold so the roads don't have much grip. Stay off the numbered roads and you won't have to deal with too much traffic.
Learn to use a map to find back streets between different towns.
When you ride a motorcycle you are never lost, you are just finding new ways to get places.

Thanks CC Cowboy I have been on the back of my babe's bike in blue hills, so much fun!!!
Right now I just need to practice, practice and practice so hopefully when the weather gets a little better I will be ready for those roads.
