If you are not fond of repeating the experience, there is more than one lesson to learn from it.

Gear is your last line of defense, make a point in never putting yourself in a situation in which you must use it.

1) Enter each turn slowly, leave accelerating.
2) Calculate your entering speed carefully and based on your sight distance.
3) Use some brake to slowdown while straighten the bike up if you must.
4) If you can, look farther, lean more and trust your tires.
5) Turn late and quick, save lean angle for emergencies.
Yea i completely agree its not exactly a sharp corner but i think i went in the inside line too much for my speed, im pretty sure it might have been my kickstand safety switch which made me grind.
after looking at it the whole bit of the switch is now ripped up onto the kickstand
