@MauR, thank you SO MUCH for photos and instructions! Gonna make it much, much easier.

Larger-than-filament LED definitely causes less-sharp focusing as can be seen by fuzzy cut-off line. But at least projector separates light and dark sides much, much better than reflector lights. LED definitely looks weaker than HID, even with two of them! I’m going to research LED bulbs more, most of them fall short of even incandescent bulbs. There's rampant lying with vendors claims such as this 1200w 260 000 lumen bulb!!! Asking them what it actually puts out comes back with "about 1 000-1 500 lumens" . Which is less than incandescent bulb and many times less than HID!

Perhaps I may make my own bulb from a Cree XHP70.2 LED or some such.
