But it doesn't have to change behavior. The vast majority of the bikes I've owned don't have TCS or ABS, and I get along fine with them as well. There have been the occasional scares when crossing over a double yellow or other paint line while accelerating and having the bike unintentionally spin up, where I wish there was TCS in place to at least try and moderate it. Happened quite a bit on the RT, which was quite a torquey beast. I've spun up the rear on the K16 a number of times in a straight line, and it still behaves well. What bit me here was a combination of lean angle, gravel, and acceleration. Take away any one of those, and we'd still be discussing the finer points of root beer floats at the Junction.
