Hey guys,
On my way into work this morning, the kickstand springs decided to depart my motorcycle. This caused the bike to shut off, and I had to pull over to the shoulder on the highway.
Luckily, I had a roll of electrical tape in my backpack, and just taped the kickstand up and made it the rest of the way to work.
I called around the the Kawi dealers around here, and no one had the springs/kickstand in stock. So, while on lunch I had my coworker take me over to Lowes to see if they had a spring that would suffice.
I ended up finding the perfect spring to replace the stock OEM springs. It's silver, but you could always paint it black. I don't really care:
