I only charge it over winter. I had a Z1000 that had a completely dead battery. It was fuel injected, so i had to roll down a hill fairly quickly and dump the clutch in 6th to get it going. Otherwise it wouldn't have any fuel pressure. All you need on the 250 is enough juice for one spark and you are good. Assuming you don't have fuel injected spec 250 in Hawaii, it should be cake
