The bike did come with a took kit. Make sure the headlight is on low beam so there is less draw on the battery. All you need to reconnect the battery is a JIS screwdriver but a philips will work too. Try second gear or third. All you are trying to do is get it in a tall enough gear so it wont lock up the rear tire. So if 2nd doesnt lock up use it it will give you more RPM on startup. Full choke second gear or third pop clutch pull in clutch once running keep the revs around 3k if you can to charge the battery in neutral.
