Ohio is the same as North Carolina and California. If the road is two or more lanes in the same direction, you can pass on the right, plus a few other instances. You just aren't allowed to pass on the right if doing so means you have to drive on the shoulder, which I already had thought of as illegally passing on the right @
gantt Georgia is pretty much worded the same.
This just reinforces my belief that there are a bunch of people out there that are uneducated about road laws.
