They do look neat, but I'm not really getting it.
If they sprayed a heavy layer of urethane on everything I might expect that you will have some issues getting the sprocket to mount on the carrier, as well as getting the sprocket to slide on the splines of the countershaft.
Hopefully not too difficult to remove if required.
