You may also want fork springs with the correct rate for your weight and riding style as well as the correct fork oil. The stock springs are overly soft for most.

Check out Sonic Springs - www.sonicsprings.com - for a calculator to help you figure out what you have and what you need. Rich (owner) is a good guy, and will make sure you get what you need.

You could also ask him about a rear shock, but chances are the choices may be limited. We used a 250 New Gen ('08+) shock on our PreGen ('04) to raise the rear slightly and be able to adjust preload.
