So I just ordered some parts from Murph's and saw they have a RK 520XSO Chain with the correct amount of links (106) and a clip style master link. I know clip style master links aren't as popular but many seem to use them without any problems. My main reason for going with the clip is it's easier to install and I don't have a chain breaker so I will just be cutting the old chain off. I would definitly add some safety wire to the clip for peace of mind. Does it really matter with the proper precautions?
