You posted a picture of what looked like you getting ready to go for a ride. The thread title "Ready for battle" made it sound like you were ready to "battle" with traffic. Don't post a pic like that on a motorcycle forum, or any social media site, and not expect to get a few comments about gear, or lack thereof.
And yeah, live and let live or whatever, but you won't see me riding with anyone who doesn't at least make an attempt to protect themselves in the event of an accident. Call me a jerk or whatever, but I don't wanna be there if they splatter themselves all over he pavement. I quit riding with one of my good friends when he traded his ninja for a chopper and then stopped wearing any gear, including a helmet.  |
I got grumpy when I essentially got a pat on the head and a biscuit for being atgatt. Over it, life presses on. Forums are hard to decipher, but the quoted post in particular was made in jest. Hence all the toothy grin. Toothy grin us my favorite little smiley on this forum
