sreisig1, I have one that I got from Indonesia when we did a group buy for rear huggers a few years back and that is how they mount, but the pushpin isn't quit long enough to open up going thru the fairing and the V-grill, but it stays in and I've never had a problem with it. Don't know about color match, I have a BLACK one.
The black blended in to the fairing so well you didn't notice it so I put a MONSTER decal on mine.
