figured it out...

There is a two prong plug connected to the box with the brake light button, i pulled them off and noticed they were corroded, i squeezed a small piece of sand paper under there and scraped off the corrosion untill i saw the shine of the metal, pluged it back in and it worked.

I also adjusted the back brake light sensor screw, and now I have working front and back brake lights.
