FINALLY got a bike
Sweeeet. An '02, and the guy selling it seemed to really know his stuff, everything was taken care of: new tires, battery, filter, plugs, carbs completely removed/dipped/cleaned, etc. Only exception was a valve check/adjustment, I'll have to take note of that, as it's just under 6k miles.
Buddy I work with rode it home 1.5 hours for me, as I don't have gear, nor did I feel comfortable riding that long (with a good chunk of it in the dark). He's been riding for 25 years or so, but isn't a fan of sport bikes. Still he had fun on some back roads.
