I'm still on the fence on mine, though I think I have found that its due to me not inserting it correctly. I also have a noisy helmet that isn't helping with the noise.

Going to test them out with my quieter helmet this weekend.

Here is a cheaper option that I have worn for close to a year now. I wash them off every other ride, or when they've been sitting for a week, and the cord has really come in handy. These are now stuffed in my tank bag should I lose my more expensive ones. Readily available at Ace.
