Yes, secondary-coils are grounded through mounting-bolt. If they don't have good ground there, won't have good spark. Since you swapped in coils from green bike, issue is most likely with mounting-surface on motor-mount. Although bolt-threads should make plenty of contact.

I thought you tested for spark and you had spark on both? And after swapping coils from green bike?
