I think I see what you mean. I would try to find a replacement.

Many times with auto pads they will include new clips, but I don't think I've ever seen them included with cycle pads.

I would call and talk to a Kawi parts person, and see if they have the answer and a part number. Or you can see if there is someone here that has a spare parts caliper sitting around with one that they will send you.

Make sure you clean and lube the sliding pins also.
