Quick update:
I spent the last two days taking the engine out so I could pull out the head and weld a screwdriver to the stuck socket to try and pull it out. Even then I still had some trouble. THAT'S how stuck this thing is.
But, I managed to get it out! So I got the spark plugs changed and the issue certainly got better, but it's not fixed. It still craps out around 9k, but only for a split second. What now?
