Those Ferrari V12s sounded like sex.

The V10s were good too.

V8s, OK I guess.

Hybrids... meh. RPM limits caused by fuel restriction kill the appeal for me. They'd sound fine if they were allowed enough fuel to turn them up.

I like the tech side... and the cars are faster than ever. But the visceral appeal of sound is a big part of F1.
