^ I'd urge you to mosey over to forum and do research on service requirements, costs, procedures, difficulties and problems before diving straight in. Not limited to calling a dealer service dept for labor rates and planned maintenance services for your particular model (especially belt and valve service)

That way no "surprises" involved, you'll know going in whether a Yamaha, Zuk or Kawasaki would be a better choice for you.

There are those that bitch about extreme Ducati dealer service fees.....but made no effort in finding that info out BEFORE buying the bike.
