Took me a while to remember how to ride it. Under 7500 you are dead in the water. After riding a SV650 for years, I had forgotten what "downshifting" was. The fun starts about 9000, but best not to run much over 12000 if you want it to live a while.

You remind me of the days when I had a Kaw 500 triple and a Triumph Bonneville. It's kind of a mind blower to jump from a bike with the shift lever on the left and jump on the other with the shift lever on the right.
