I'm going in opposite direction, gonna use aluminium bolts to hold rearsets on. At 1/3rd strength of steel, they might be just strong enough to hold everything together, yet snap easily during crash before any damage to frame is done. Maybe i'll do some destructive testing and if they don't snap easily enough, I'll hollow out the bolts slightly.
