Yep, that's good Toyota FIPG masterial. I use it on engines with metal-on-metal interfaces without gaskets. Oil-pans, balance-shaft housings, cam towers, etc.
I also apply a little when re-using gaskets. Tighten bolts to 25-50% torque and let sealant dry and cure for couple hours. Then torque to final spec.
