There's a guy on craigslist selling a 1986 Hurricane for $400 or best offer. For those of you who don't remember, this was a pretty sweet bike.

"I am selling a 1986 Honda Hurricane. Bike will crank but won't turn over! It was running about 4 months ago until my brother stopped starting it daily so i have no idea whats wrong with it! I am asking 400 obo! Bike will need new tires and some fairings! I do not have the title!"

I'd be using this as a project bike, so obviously the engine troubles just add more fun.

I've got the money for a complete overhaul of the bike, but I've got a question for you folks that know everything about every bike: he says it's a 1986, and from what Google tells me, the line started in 1987.

Anyone have an explanation?

Also, if I get this, that day will mark the one where I start working on my own damn bikes. No more greedy mechanics!
