Most likely your carbs need deeper cleaning:
- disassemble carbs down to bare jets, needles, float-valves, etc.
- floss all secret passages
- ultrasonic bath with heavy-duty chemicals
- soda-blast all orifices and fuel circuits
- verify slide diaphragms intact with no cracks or leaks
- adjust float heights to spec
- test that petcock diaphragm holds vacuum (don’t have to keep applying vacuum for fuel to flow)
