So I noticed today on the way home from work after about 20 minutes into my ride that when I stopped my bike would only settle to about 2000 RPMs instead of its usual 1200-1500 idle. It was a crazy hot day and it had been in the sun all day dont know if that makes a difference or not but I figured I would throw it out there.

So what are the possible causes of this? Is it cause for concern?
