Be careful and don't force plug on if threads are mangled. That's how this mess was started.

First, you'll want to clean up and re-form threads with thread-chaser: https://www.amazon.com/Performance-T.../dp/B002KS9ETS

Next time when you replace plugs and find threads buggered, don't use helicoil type repair. They are for permanent locations like head studs or main bearing-caps that will be removed once or twice during bike's lifetime. Repeated installation and removal like spark-plugs will cause coils to come out with plugs eventually. You'll want to use 1-piece solid-steel insert for more durable repair of plug threads.
