Are you sure you didn't misread it saying 200-300 for the year? That would sound more realistic. I don't see it even being possible for anyone to charge that much a month for full coverage on the 250r. Maybe if the bike was made of freaking gold or silver perhaps. 300 a month for insurance in a year is like paying twice for you bike, that's retarded. I'd say do the quote again and pay attention to detail.
I ended up paying $75 for minimal insurance for the year in PA from Progressive. Then when I moved to Orlando I changed it to a Florida policy and added a little coverage I ended up paying about $160 for a year's worth of insurance from Progressive.
