That's Joe Rocket, yes? I have the JR ballistic pants which are full textile and have a waterproof liner that is removable, but they don't have hip armor. I also have the JR Cleo pants which are mesh - you can see both in my post earlier in this thread... given your location I would say to go with the ballistics as they are definitely warmer, but not too warm, even on our 90* and high humidity days
