which is it?? ...these are 2 different things.
like I said, I never shift back into first unless the bike is at a complete stop. stay in second and pull the clutch in as you roll to a stop. shift into first as you watch the neutral light flash on for a second to confirm you're in first and I
leave it in first the entire time I'm stopped with my eye on the rear view mirror watching for non slowing cars trying to plow up my ass.
