Actually, the video is correct. Disconnect the neg first. If you accidentally short the neg to the frame while you are removing it, then nothing happens. If you start with the pos and accidentally short that to the frame, then sparks will fly and any gasoline drips may ignite.

Then reconnect backwards - pos first.

But since most people will be using a screwdriver, its pretty hard to short that to the frame. Its more of a factor when people use socket or crescent wrenches that can swing over and bang into the tank.

Yep, it was more like 10 minutes.
