I agree 100%, the generic ones will only work on top of the triple not below. The generic ones I have are probably slightly lower than stock but definitely much lighter in weight. The left stock bar on my 250 was bent from a crash. It was rideable but I couldn’t wait to change it.
I will be changing the left fairing as well. I am sure the bars will BUZZ on the street some. No matter, I will be riding it on the track mostly. Just hope the lowered front will give the bike sharper handling and not the reverse.

I have the Vortex clip ons on my 400. They are above the triple and the front was dropped about 5mm and no issues. I have done track days and 2 races with this set up and it makes easier to get into proper BODY POSITIONING!
