I ride to work when it's a bit cold before dawn and chaps weren't keeping my boys warm. I got a pair of leather overpants from
http://www.jaminleather.com/Unisex-P...nts-P1015.aspx They have no padding, but do zip all the way up the legs so I can easily strip out of them in the parking lot w/o removing my workboots. One caution, the satin liner is very baggy and lose. If you try to zip the legs w/o your leg inside, the liner will get caught in the zipper like mad.
I had tried some textile pants when I first started riding and they were nice and toasty with the quilted liner, but didn't zip up at the leg so I had to take shoes on and off to put them on... PITA.
