I have no clue what is more popular. I guess it depends on what group you hang out with. If you pedal with a LBS, then you will most likely see a lot of what the LBS sells.
That is one thing that I have noticed.
I was looking into Scott, but the Trek suited my wallet better and it works very well for me.
