He said "i cant seem to find any connections to plug it onto", so he has been looking. His photo shows it connected to the intake manifold that connects the two heads to one carburetor. The hose seems to possibly be larger in diameter than a typical vacuum line would be. That's why I have a feeling it's a breather hose. Of course there would probably be something along the lines of a PCV valve in that case, so the intake doesn't just suck like crazy on the crankcase. Or maybe it's really a vacuum hose.
Web photos show the barb on the intake manifold, and some sort of fitting low on one cylinder, but I can't tell much else. Marty, could the hose go to something like a vacuum pulse operated fuel pump? Maybe something above the engine?
