The CV carburetors are sufficient for the Ninjette. I know some whom go with mikuni flat slide carbs on its bigger brother the EX500.

I'm not aware of anyone doing that for the Ninjette, and judging by the large amount of track racers on this forum, they seem to stick with the OEM CV carburetors, and just change jets, needles, etc....
