This is my 500 after about $2500 worth of mods. Most people probably wouldn't notice much beyond the mufflers. I still have all the original parts, and can put it back to 100% stock other than three small holes that were drilled.

Obviously a scrambler is going to require some bigger, more permanent mods, but take your time and do it the right way rather than the cheap/easy way. In the end, you'll be glad you did.
