Position of relay makes it difficult to plug in with bodywork in place. That's probably why it's unppluged. Whoever played with it last probably discovered that little conundrum after putting tail section back on.
I reposition inside, to be accessible with just seat removed. Might as well do that now while you've got bodywork off.
