Don’t get tunnel vision on Ti, AL works as well or better in some places.

Depends upon the bolt. Nothing structural should be Al, since it’s only 1/3rd strength of steel. Most weight-savings come from replacing biggest bolts first with Ti, about 6-8 lbs savings. Smaller non-critical bolts replaced with Al will save 1-2 lbs.

Titanium wheel axles and nuts, swingarm pivot bolt & nut, shock-mounting and linkage bolts & nuts, engine-mounting bolts & nuts,brake-caliper and rotor mount bolts, sprocket studs & nuts, triple-T clamp bolts, mirror bolts, fairing stay bolts, rearset bolts, passenger peg bolts, muffler mounting bolt, shifter rod, etc.

Aluminium = fairing bolts, tank bolts, battery-tray bolts, dog-bones, thermostat-housing bolts, water-pump bolts, sprocket cover bolts,
