I'd say 6k on a 35w ballast would get a nice blue tint, but if you go to the 55w ballasts it tends to wash some of the colour out and you may need to go with a higher colour temp depending on what you want. I went with 5000k bulbs (55w) and it's bright white, the only time it's blue is when it's warming up, and that lasts about 20-30 seconds.
