I was thinking of doing that on my bike... tomorrow I'm going to test out different fender eliminator options. I have the stock fender right now and I'll try chopping it, before completely eliminating it and doing it myself without purchasing an aftermarket kit.
I just shot off a message to scott through ebay and I'll probably be purchasing one of these in the new few days, but I'm curious to see what the second pointier type of tire hugger looks like.
