I always have a tail bag with me so usually carry more than needed..

OEM tool kit supplimented with better tools, zip ties, electrical tape, and duct tape wrapped around a pencil for minor repairs under seat cowl.
Air compressor with sticky string style tire repair kit and mini air gauge.
WD-40
Chain lube (two types now, wax spray and the scottoiler refill stuff)
Oil
Mini first aid kit
Flashlight
Spare headlights, turn signal bulbs, and fuses.
Two SPOT devices (one on me, one on bike)
Mini leatherman
Couple bandanas and a clean up rag.
Extra layers in case I'm stranded and it gets cold, along some heat packs that I need to restock.

About $40 tucked in with ins info
About $150 squirreled away for major expenses.
Spare debit, credit, and gas cards for primary usage so my wallet is never off of me to be forgotten/stolen.

Jumper cables, I want to get jumper cables!! And need to figure out how where to tuck a set of tie downs and the handlebar straps.

Oh! I do want to have spare set of throttle and clutch cables already in place so if they break, I can change over relatively quick and definitely not be stranded.

My shopping list is growing....
