I agree, but I had an interesting conversation about my Mikuni Flatslide with a tech from Sudco (Mikuni distributor). The subject of changing the float level came up, and I said -
"won't changing the float level effect the mixture?".
His answer was
"No".
Not sure if I believe that or not, but I was surprised to hear it, as I always figured the higher the level the quicker/easier the fuel would be pulled-up from the bowl - making the mixture richer.
