Bridgestone BT45s or Michelin City Grips are are good.
Street tyres with small tread-blocks tend to get feathering at edges of blocks. Seems to cause increased wear. But nothing to worry about. I'm going to try taking my pre-gen with Shinkos on track next. I suspect lack of tread-blocks (just some small stripes) will enhance grip and durability.
