I just had this thread on the other ninja 250 board.

Got talking to a couple guys that had a bit over 80k. Said that up to around 50k you don't have anything but regular up keep. Then the timing chain guides start to wear out and need replaced. The valves should be low by 60k. And other than that your good to go.

So once in 100k you will have to open the crank case. Or simply eBay a motor for about 300 and pop it in. I wish my car was this reliable.

BTW, I have 20k and my motor is clean enough to lick inside. If your into licking motor parts that is.
