I agree that beefing up the internals would be great. It wouldn't really matter to 99% of the bikes made though.

I have seen, more than once, a 20 year old bike with over ten owners that still has less then 10k on the clock. And on top of that the scrap yards are packed with so many they don't even want them.

It took almost a month for me to find a differential for my supra, then it $500, high miles and was shipped across country. It took me 2 weeks to find a ninja in my area for $300 that was the color I wanted....yes I found enough that I was like, naw I don't want a green one I want a black one.

You have almost unlimited, almost new parts so why bother doing any work on it unless you want to? It will cost the same to get a newish motor as it will to have the dealer adjust the valves.
