I would ride to work more often if I could filter, too. My commute is about an hour and a half each way right now and about half that is the result of sitting through lights for three to four cycles several times along the way. There's a bill in the state house here to allow filtering at stop lights, but it has sat in committee for two legislative sessions and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytime soon.
