THIS VIDEO on FB, even though the cyclist was riding near the middle of the road, there is no reason why a driver should intentionally hit a cyclist on the road... and drive away without stopping.
Some comments on FB even consider the cyclist deserved to get hit.
You are a driver sitting in your climate controlled car, leather seat, cup holders, etc... can't you wait few seconds to pass a cyclist safely?
