i'm searching for clutch issues too since my '14 w/ 7k miles began slipping recently for no obvious reason.

oil mix not unusual. ran mcv 20w50 amsoil for an interval without noticing clutch difference.
after 2nd occurrence i have adjusted the shift lever, haven't had issue since but also haven't gone flat out again.
I have used Shell Rotella T6 in all bikes for many, many years now, and no issues whatsoever.

Or you might want to look at your clutch, steel plates, and friction plates, maybe the steel plates are glazed, and that's an easy and cheap fix.
